EdTech and Learning Sciences are hot issues for practitioners, researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors. But too often they operate in isolation from one another. The goal of Gedankenspiele – thought games, word play, imaginations – is to make research findings from some of the current ed tech issues available to those who use technology to teach their students, those who design and build new ed tech solutions, and those who invest into these endeavors. Jan L. Plass is a Professor at New York University, where he directs the CREATE Lab.
